Dr.Kwigizile joined the civil engineering faculty at WVU
Tech in August, 2008, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where he
worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher. He received his Ph. D. in Civil Engineering
from UNLV in December, 2007. He earned a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Florida
State University in December, 2004 and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the
University of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, in November, 2001. His research interests
include transportation modeling and planning, traffic safety, simulation and
operations, application of intelligent transportation systems, air quality
analysis, and GIS application in Civil Engineering. Dr. Kwigizile is a member of
the Institute of Transportaion Engineers (ITE) and the American Society of Civil
Engineers (ASCE). He is also a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
