Dr. Lee was born and reared in Seoul, Korea, and moved to
the United
States in 1997. Prior to coming to Tech in 2008, he worked as a bridge research
specialist for the Center for Transportation Research and Education at Iowa
State University in Ames,
Iowa. While at Iowa State University, Dr. Lee worked on numerous
structurally-related research projects such as
structural health monitoring, bridge load testing and performance evaluation,
and structural analysis/design software development.
